General questions
What is Rembrandt van Wine?
Rembrandt van Wine is a night out filled with painting, sipping, socializing and having fun. Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone and learning something new. Rembrandt van Wine is definitely not your ordinary night out, it will be one to remember. Come give it a try!
What language is being spoken during the events?
Most events will be held in English since we get quite some international visitors and it would be a little mean to leave them hanging with only Flemish instructions. However, most our hosts and art instructors speak both languages (and more!) so will be perfectly fine helping you personally in your preferred language!
Are there non-alcoholic options?
Yes, we both offer non-alcoholic wine as well as a wide variety of soft drinks. If you wish to drink something super specific, please reach out to us and we will try to make it a reality.
What is the age limit for attending a Rembrandt van Wine event?
We don't have a strict age limit. However, as there is alcohol being poured we ask each parent to decide for themselves whether they want their kid around in such an environment. If you are in doubt and want to discuss, feel free to send us an email at info@rembrandtvanwine.nl.
Paint & Sip questions
Are food and drinks provided?
Drinks are all taken care of, they are on us. No need to bring anything yourself. Food is another story. During a regular event we do not serve food and there is no option to order it either. The event lasts for 2 hours so if you are afraid you will be hungry then please eat something beforehand. It is possible to arrange some snacks at a private event, depending on your wishes.
Do I need to bring my own art supplies?
No, you don't need to bring anything at all.We will give you everything you need to create a masterpiece, including an apron so your pretty clothes don't get dirty!
Can I join an event solo?
Yes, you should! We even hold some spare tickets behind for cool people wanting to come solo, just send us a message and we will get it sorted (even when an event appears to be sold-out). Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone, learning something new in a judgemental free environment. Riding solo is a big part of all that!
Can I make a group reservation?
Yes, of course you can do this. There are two options here, you can either buy as many tickets as your group needs for any of the events on our website. We can also organize a private event just for you and your group. Fill out this <a href="/private-paint-and-sip-events/" class="text-[#ff8f01] hover:text-[#ff8f01]/80">form</a> and we will make sure to arrange something super special just for you and your group!
What if I can't make it on the date I have a ticket for?
If you can't make it on the date you planned to join we offer you to freely reschedule to a new date. Do note that we only offer this service up until 5 days in advance, as otherwise it might be impossible for us to re-sell your ticket. If you find out that you can't make it within 5 days of the event then we offer you to freely change the names on the tickets so you can make someone else happy with a night at Rembrandt van Wine.
Do you offer refunds?
No, we don't offer refunds. If you can't make it on the date you planned to join we do offer you to freely reschedule to a new date. Do note that we only offer this service up until 5 days in advance, as otherwise it might be impossible for us to re-sell your ticket. If you find out that you can't make it within 5 days of the event then we offer you to freely change the names on the tickets so you can make someone else happy with a night at Rembrandt van Wine. For private events things are slightly different:100 percent refund when cancelling more than 3 weeks in advance of the exact starting time of the event.50 percent refund when cancelling between 1-3 weeks in advance of the exact starting time of the event.0 percent refund when cancelling within 7 days of the event of the exact starting time of the event.

What can I expect from a Rembrandt van Wine Paint & Sip event?
Hard to put the whole experience into words, but since you asked: We invite you to arrive around 10 minutes before the start of the event, giving you some time to settle in and get comfortable before we start with the actual painting. Once everyone is in our host & art instructor will give everyone a warm welcome, and just the right instructions to get you started. Then, it is mainly just 2 hours of painting and having fun. While you get into the painting, our art instructor is walking around for personal painting advice and our host is walking around to top up your drink. Finally, there is some time to wander around yourself, look at the other creations, have a chat and take some photos before we say goodbye at the end of the 2 hours. But you are not leaving empty handed, you of course get to take your creation home with you!
What is included in the price?
Everything you need for the sip and paint: Art supplies, paint, art instructor, music, and a great amount of fun. Also, all drinks are on us. Plus, you get to bring your masterpiece home afterwards!
Do I have to follow the theme of the day?
We are not the art police, you can paint anything you want. Our art instructor is walking around and able to give you personal advice even if you paint something completely different from the theme of the day. Plus we have around 15 other painting templates to choose from, with written instructions on the back might you need it.
Can I bring my painting home directly after the event?
Absolutely, the paint typically dries pretty fast making you able to bring your masterpiece home with you directly after the event. To make things even easier either bring yourself a bag for transport or buy one of our beautiful and sturdy Rembrandt van Wine shoppers on location (5eu).
How does a neon painting look in the daylight
Equally spectacular, but either very different or very the same depending on your painting decisions. We provide you with both neon and normal acrylic paint, ensuring that the painting can look both magical under black lights and beautiful under normal lights. We typically recommend starting with acrylic paint, and then adding some finishing touches and details with neon as these will then really pop out of your canvas. However, it is up to you how much of each paint you decide to use, and thereby how your painting will turn out in the normal light.
